Michigan House would like to go down with Taylor Swift Bills against Ticket -Bots

Lansing, me. (Wilx) – Remember when Taylor Swift fans lost in concert tickets in the Little Caesars Arena after automated bots bought you last year?

This led the legislators in the state capital to create what they call “Taylor Swift Bills”.

This is the second time in a little more than a year that the legislators have rejected on ticket bots. An identical draft law passed the house, but did not pull out of a Senate committee.

The cross -party plan is intended to advance digital scalpers and tickets on exaggerated prices. It is becoming increasingly difficult for Michiganderers to get tickets to see their favorite artists in concerts, and bots could be to blame, software that is equipped for a large number of tickets in little time.

Doug Ensign is a frequent concertgoer who says that he was in sixteen concerts in a year. Fähnrich says he also dealt with bots who almost stop him and his girlfriend from seeing one of his favorite artists, Sir Chloe.

“It is a very small event location where she showed and the tickets were over 300 US dollars due to scalpers, and we didn't even want to five hours before they opened tickets again and were able to get them for $ 30 so that only the scalpers,” said Ensign.

The Michigan House justice committee heard testimony on the cross -party Bill package on Wednesday.
