DC teen accidentally shoots, kills himself while he takes on social media video: police

A teenage girl is dead after the DC police believe that she accidentally killed herself in the northeast during the creation of a social media video.

At the moment the police are investigating an apartment where the shootout took place behind me. Some people who live in this neighborhood tell me that they are sad about this shootout.

What we know:

Shortly after 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21st, the DC police reacted to the Benning Courts Apartment Complex in the 1700 block of the Benning Road, northeast, opposite the Hechinger Mall.

After an investigation, the police believe that the 14-year-old girl was treated with a weapon when taking a social media video and she shot herself.

Detectives found that they were in the apartment with at least one adult and some other people.

You examine this as a “random shootout”. Some people who live in the residential building feel bad for the family of the teenager.

What you say:

“I pray for the parents of this individual. God should give them strength because I am sure that they are fed up with weapons,” said tenant Wokie Jones.

The DC police did not publish the girl's name. Chef Pamela Smith said: “This is a devastating memory of the danger weapons that get into the hands of young people.”

She also spent a memory of the public and said firearms were not a toy or props, and they have to be secured in a place where they can only be accessed by lawful gun owners.

The police ask everyone with additional information about the shootout to call the DC police.
