Pat McAfee reacts to the death of the Colt owner Jim Irsay

The former Punter Pat McAfee, the former period of Indianapolis Colts, described the death of team owner Jim Irsay in a social media contribution on Wednesday evening “devastating” and told details of her relationship during and after his game days.

McAfee said Irsay followed him during a work interruption on social media and then turned to him and asked about the opportunities to connect with fans.

“… Jim followed me during the entire CBA negotiations on Twitter. His first day in the training camp, immediately after the end of the lockout, he drove his golf car to where I was and started to give questions about Twitter.”

McAfee also said about his retirement and Irsay's attempts to change his opinion. Irsay soon realized that he could not persuade McAfee from it, and immediately offered to help McAfee in any way.

“When I decided to withdraw, he and I had a 2.5 -hour conversation in his office. He was sitting at his desk. He hit his shit out of his vape. And we talked about everything I was hoping to go.

“He tried to stop me for a few minutes. Even offered to renegotiate my contract. And when he realized that my decision was made.

“If this does not work for some reason or you don't want to do it anymore, you will always have a job here on the colts. You are family. '”
