The US secretary for home protection promises to bring “corrupt perpetrators” to court.

Two employees of the Israel's embassy in the United States were shot, the US authorities said.

According to the authorities, the workers of the embassy were fatally shot on Wednesday before the Jewish Jewish Museum in Washington.

Kristi Noem, secretary for home protection, said the staff was “senselessly killed” in an attack near the museum.

“We actively investigate and work on receiving further information about sharing,” said NoEM in an explanation.

“Please pray for the families of the victims. We will put this spoiled perpetrator in court.”

The American Jewish Committee, which organized an event in the museum, said that it was “destroyed that an unspeakable act of violence took place outside of the event location”.

“At that moment when we expect further information from the police, our attention and hearts are exclusively with those that have been damaged and their families,” said the organization.

The US general Prosecutor Pamela Bondi said she was at the scene and prayed “for the victims of this violence while we work to learn more”.

Danny Danon, Israel's ambassador in the United Nations, described the shootout as a “spoiled act of anti -Semitic terrorism”.

The police did not give any details about a suspect or motive in the attack.
