Two days ago, Hugh shared an Instagram video about his experience with an indigo flight. He described the inexpensive airline as the “worst rated airline” in India.

Indigo was one of the “worst airlines in the world” in the Airhelp Score report in 2024 and secured 103th place of 109.

A trip to Indigo

Hugh, a street food vlogger, did not start his flight with high expectations. His mind was changed in the end.

In his Instagram video, which was “best rated India”, he documented his experience to travel to Indigo.

First of all, the Scotsman was surprised to see that the flight was on time. Next, he was even more surprised that the passengers climbed with an aerobridge instead of a bus. “Usually you have to go up the asphalt with these cheap airlines. But here there is a tunnel.

No complaints

Once on the plane, he found nothing that he could complain about when the plane was clean and the seats were comfortable. “Flawless. Really, very clean,” he said, adding that there were enough leg room.

Hugh said the seats on the flight were comfortable and the “chicken jungle -Sandwich” was fresh. The crew spoke English, was polite and served him his requested drink – a cola zero – without any problems.

“I don't understand why this is evaluated with the worst airline in India,” he said. “The employees are beautiful. Everyone speak English.”

“So far, this was the best budget -airline experience that I could ever have imagined. Nothing went wrong,” said the Scottish tourist.

His video has become viral online, and dozens of people agreed with his attitude.
