4 killed in 2 shootings in Minneapolis; Indigenous communities on the side

According to the police, all victims are believed to be the American indigenous people.

In the indigenous communities in Minnesota, after two shootings in Minneapolis, there are two shootings in Minneapolis within 24 hours of two shootings, which the authorities keep as four American indigenous people.

“The message to our home community is that we are standing with them. We will do everything we can to bring these perpetrators to justice, and to be clear, our city, our police, our entire company will not rest until we do the job, and we will do it hand in hand with them,” said Minneapoli Mayor Jacob Frey.

The chief of police from Minneapolis, Brian O'Hara, said that the investigators suspect that the shootings are connected to each other and a gang are connected.

Until Wednesday evening, nobody was in custody because of the crimes.

The shootouts occurred in a large indigenous community in the district of Phillips in Minneapolis, but the concerns among other indigenous communities in the state take precautions.

The Fond du LAC band by Lake Superior Chippewa published the following explanation in Northland on Wednesday evening:

“Aaniin community,

Our reservation business committee and the management of the executive are aware of the ongoing law enforcement situation in the district of Phillips in Minneapolis.

The Fond du Lac Band has taken all the necessary steps to ensure the security and well -being of our employees in our facilities in Minneapolis. We monitor the situation closely and remain in regular communication with our teams.

From great caution, Mino Bimaadizi Waakaa'igan and our FDL city office in Minneapolis are closed for the rest of Wednesday, April 30, and tomorrow, Thursday, May 1st, to prioritize both the patient and the employees in both facilities. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
