Elementary Art Show emphasizes creativity and talent

The City School District of Albany in cooperation with the Albany Institute of History and Art (AIHA) will issue its 11th annual primary school for basic art on June 6th to 8th to 8th.

“The event is unique and a special opportunity for our young artists to present their talent and inspiration,” said Kate Wright, supervisor of the City School District of Albany Fine Arts.

Pieces of all 12 primary schools of the district are exhibited in the Rice House in Aiha (125 Washington Ave.):

  • Friday, June 6th from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, June 7th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Sunday, June 8th from 12 noon to 5 p.m.

At the opening reception on June 6th, the William S. Hackett Middle School Jazz Club will also be displayed in the AIHA Foyer from 5 p.m.

Entry is free of charge from June 6th to 8th for participating students and their parents/legal guardians.

Congratulations to all of our students and their lead instructors who represent the Albany school in the city at this wonderful event.
