Kochi: The case with regard to the murder of a three -year -old girl in Kochi, supposedly from her mother, stood because of the police that the child was sexually abused by a close relative.

The younger brother of the child's father was arrested by the Puthencruz police. According to the police, according to Section 3 and 6 of the Pocso Act (protection of children from sexual crimes, 2012), it should be accused of being dealt with with penetrating sexual assault and tightening, thumbnails, as well as § 64 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The sexual abuse with which the child was confronted was light during the post -mortal exam and the police asked the victim's family members after their funeral on Tuesday evening.

Police sources said that the man confessed the crime during the survey. The child lived near the accused's house and he abused them several times when she went to sleep in the house of local transport. According to reports, the Postmortem report has reported injuries in the private parts of the girl, which indicates recent abuse incidents.

The police source said it was not yet clear whether the girl's mother knew about the ordeal that her daughter had to endure. She mentioned nothing about it when she was interviewed after the child was reported missing, the source added.

The murder case is examined by the Chengamanad police when the girl's body was found by the chalakudy River in Moozhikulam near the mother's house. The woman confessed to throw her daughter into the river on Monday evening, although the police do not yet have to confirm the motif behind the crime. The woman committed the crime when she brought the child in Kurumassery near Moozhikulam from her husband's house near Chottanikkara.

Relatives of the child's parents said there were differences between the couple.

The woman was referred back and the police in Chamanad will bring her to her for further investigations. The Puthencruz police will probably take the question after the Pocso case.

Ernakulam Rural SP M Hemalatha informed the reporters on Thursday that the Pocso case was registered on the basis of the autopic report and the doctor's explanation that carried out the exam. “A zero guide was registered and was transferred to the Puthencruz police station. The investigation began yesterday, and important evidence is analyzed. We also check certain suspicions and statements of other people who are related to the child,” said the official.

Zero Fir refers to a FIR that is registered in any police station, regardless of where the crime actually happened.
