Big Rig Crash west of Stewartsville On Thursday, Ms. from Macon injured

A man from Macon was involved in an accident early Thursday when the Semi, which he drove, left about three miles west of Startsville, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred at 12:25 p.m. when a 2023 Peterbilt Convention on the Highway 36 drove west. The patrol reported that the half -degree had run from the north side of the street and hit a Bösche. It continued over a gravel road before it came upright in a ditch in front of the West.

The driver, a 67-year-old man from Macon, wore a seat belt and was not reported injured. A 64-year-old woman, a passenger from Macon, was freed from the use of a seat belt. She suffered minor injuries, but declined the treatment on site.

The Peterbilt suffered moderate damage and was towed out of the scene by Scotty.

Sergeant SJ Cool from Missouri State Highway Patrol examined the crash with the support of the Sheriff department of the DEKALB County.
