Portland teenage at Jay County Crash – Mercer County Outlook injured

(5-22-25) Portlands Madison L. Baker(18), which drives a Ford Focus 2010, went into a tree in a tree on Tuesday evening at around 11:17 p.m.

Baker drove with the County Road 300 East, where 700 south in Grenzpike and curves to the northwest, west on the County Road 700 south of the intersection. When the vehicle entered the curve, the car drove west of the street and into a tree.

Jay County's crash report indicated that Baker may have driven too quickly when entering the curve.

After the crash, Baker stated that she had leg and hip pain.

Several passengers in the vehicle suffered injuries.
