House Republicans are briefly passing Trump's agenda megabill

The Republicans of the House narrowly passed their budget megabill on Thursday morning and sent the massive package with the majority of President Donald Trump's agenda to the Senate. The votes of 215-214 increases the 1,100-page draft law that, if at all, members had time to read completely after changes at the last minute to win a group of conservative holdouts.

After hours of debates overnight, two Republicans have – Reps. Thomas Massie from Kentucky and Warren Davidson from Ohio – all Democrats who were present in the vote against the bill. GOP representative Andy Harris from Maryland agreed.

The “a big beautiful draft law” contains, as the legislation is called, an extension and expansion of the tax cuts that the Republicans passed in 2017. When paying the trillion US dollars in reduced income that would bring these cuts, the GOP has decided to grab hundreds of billions in financing from social security network programs such as medical and earlier as food brands. Nevertheless, the legislative template, which was previously analyzed by the Congress budget office, would continue to advance the deficit.

Trump and spokesman Mike Johnson, R-La. A meeting on Wednesday afternoon in the White House managed to shake enough of potential voices so that the draft law was adopted in view of the United Democratic opposition. Moderats who made themselves suspicious of the changes to social programs and the rollback from Green Energy Credits were not in harmony instead of further protesting.

After the draft law was passed according to the regulations for reconciliation, the draft law is now being pursued in the Senate, where Democrats did not filibust. But the Senate GOP has declared that they intend to make changes to the legislative template before sending them back into the house. It is unclear whether the scope of these potential improvements will endanger the invoice that is able to reach Trump's desk quickly.
