Man who is accused of death

Huntington, W.Va. (Wsaz)-a man is charged after a 2-year-old was no longer reacted to a house in Huntington on May 10th.

Officers say that Deandre Whitfield, 31, from Chicago, is accused of neglecting crimes, which leads to death.

The incident occurred in the 300 block of West 9th Avenue.

The police say that Whitfield has no longer reacted in a filled bathtub within the house. The child was then taken to the hospital by a neighbor.

They say that the child's mother is at work at the time of the incident, and the child is under the only care of Whitfield, the friend of the mother.

The investigators say that the child died in the hospital four days later on May 14th.

Officials say that Whitfield was also exposed to the charges against the judiciary in front of a refugee, since he had an active arrest against probation from previous predatory and weapon crimes in Springfield, Illinois.
