Saints QB Jake Haener has reportedly suffered a weird injury | Holy

Jake Haener, who is expected to start the New Orleans Saints this summer, has suffered an injury after organized team activity that will force him to miss several weeks.

According to an ESPN report, Haener injured his slope and got additional work after training on Wednesday. An MRI showed a burden that will probably keep it to the rest of OTAs that run over the next three weeks.

Haener, a choice in the fourth round in 2023, performed in eight games with a start for the saints last season. He completed 18 of his 39 attempts (46.2%) for 226 yards and threw a touchdown and a intercept.

While the saints did not indicate whether one of their young quarterback has an advantage in the competition, Haener was the longest chance. New Orleans invested a second choice in Tyler Shough, and Spencer Rattler, Spencer Rattler, started six games in 2024 last season.
