Bristol Data Week 2025 emphasizes Ki forever

The Bristol Data Week 2025 examines the ethical and creative AI.

The AI ​​pioneering professor Geoff Hinton, which was awarded the Nobel Prize, will hold this year's Richard Gregory Memorial Lecture at the University of Bristol on June 2.

His lecture entitled “Will Digital Intelligence replace biological intelligence?” Will examine the skills and risks of AI and align with Bristol Data Week 2025, which runs from June 2 to June 6th.

Hinton, known for his basic work in neural networks, attended the secondary school in Bristol and recently received the Nobel Prize 2024 in physics. His lecture is introduced by Vice Chancellor Evelyn Welch and supported by MyWorld, a British Center for Creative Technology Research.

The Bristol Data Week offers free workshops, conversations and panels, in which data and AI research are presented in various topics such as climate, health and ethics. The headline event “Ki for Good” will highlight KI projects on June 4 that focus on social effects.

Research centers such as the South West Nuclear Hub and the Bristol Center for Super Computing will contribute to the program. The organizers want to prove how responsible AI can advance innovations and benefit the communities.
