NJ soldiers aim at violent crime in Trenton and Newark, 12 cuffs, aim

State Troopers were busy last weekend when they concentrated their efforts to get violent criminals off the streets in two big cities in New Jersey.

Last Saturday, May 17th, the state police in New Jersey in Trenton and Newark carried out “coordinated details to reduce violent crime (VCR)”.

Details for reducing violent crime are strategic enforcement operations that use data analyzes, crime cards and intelligence exchange to identify and disrupt criminal activities in areas known as hotspots for violent crime. These efforts focus on targeting individuals and groups who are responsible for violent crimes.

Numerous departments of the NJSP were involved, including members of the violent criminal offices in the field of secret service and criminal companies, Field Operations, K-9, and aviation units as well as various law enforcement authorities in the region and the district.

12 arrests, weapons and drugs that were confiscated in New Jersey

The result was 12 people who were arrested under various charges, including the following:

• Illegal gun ownership
• Drug offenses
• Consciousness resist
• obstruction
• Contempt of the court

Five illegal weapons, two AK-47 high-performance rifles, several magazines with high capacity, ammunition and illegal drugs were also confiscated.

The names of the arrested were not published by the police.
