Thumb injury forces Archer from West Indies Odis

Speedster Jofra Archer was excluded from English one -day international series against the West Indies with a right thumb injury.

Archer will miss the series that begins on May 29 after suffering the injury to Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League.

In a statement published on Wednesday, the ECB said that the archer born in Barbados “will be re -evaluated in the next fourteen days to determine when it could return to action”.
