12-year-old boy who was killed in West Philadelphia

According to the authorities, a 12-year-old boy was killed in Belmont on Wednesday evening after suffering a gunshot wound on Wednesday evening in Belmont.

The police replied to the 800 block of Brooklyn Street to call a person who was shot shortly before 9:20 p.m., where they found the boy and were identified as Nashon Thomas.

Thomas was brought to the Philadelphia children's hospital by paramedics, where he succumbed to his injury shortly after 9.40 p.m., the police said.

The area was secured by the authorities. The police recovered a weapon and an arrest was made.

According to the police, the perpetrator is a 14-year-old boy, the victim's brother.
