Fla. Officer injured after the suspect had pulled him 150 feet into the vehicle

Bradenton, Florida-a police officer of Bradenton, was hospitalized after he was pulled by a vehicle during a traffic stop that ended in an accident and led to the arrest of a 19-year-old suspect. Fox 13 reported.

The visibly injured officer was crawled on the floor on video and fought to stand. Several officials arrived quickly and took the suspect in custody after opposed and beating several officers. A search for the vehicle discovered a kilogram of marijuana and 62 THC Vape cartridges.

The officer was taken to the hospital with a patrol car and treated a separate shoulder and light leg injuries for concussion. Since then he has been released and has recovered at home, according to the Bradenton Police Department.

The suspect is charged with several crimes, including a heavy battery of a law enforcement officer, the resistance of an official by violence and driving with a suspended or revoked license.
