Pedestrians seriously injured in Weston crash with two trucks

Weston, Maine (Wagm) – A pedestrian suffered serious injuries after two trucks on Route 1 in Weston in Weston were involved in Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Sheriff of the Sheriff of Aroostook, the MPs reacted to the scene on May 21 after a commercial motor vehicle and an agricultural truck tried to make a curve. Both vehicles sent the effects into a guardrail in which a pedestrian had been sitting and the person held under one of the trucks.

The emergency crews were able to free the pedestrian, which was then transported with serious injuries by the Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor.

According to the authorities, it is not believed that alcohol and drugs have played a role in the crash that will continue to be examined.

The Sheriff's office was supported by a Crash reconstruction center from the PRESQUE Isle police department, Danforth Ambulance, Northern Washington/Southern Aroostook Ambulance Service, Danforth Fire Department, the Commercial Vehicles Motor Vehicles in the Maine State Police and Life Flight.
