NBA money penalties Anthony Edwards for the use of profane language after game 1 against thunder

The NBA money penalty of Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards on Wednesday evening for the “Use of Profance of Profans during a media interview” after the team was defeated against the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Western Conference Finals.

The Timberwolves lost in game 1 114-88 against thunder. Edwards was disappointed with his performance, especially with regard to his shot. He scored 18 points, which was his second lowest edition in the post -season.

After the game, Edwards said reporters that he “only did 13 f —— shots”, which is the obscenity of the NBA for which he sentenced a fine. It was expected to make a fine for flying in his press conference.

This was definitely not Edwards' first fine of the 2024-25 season. His season rose from 25 fines this season via Spotrac to over 400,000 US dollars. During the season he had 18 technical fouls, which was the most in the NBA.

Edwards was punished against Los Angeles Lakers during the team's first round when he used profane language towards Lakers fans. In December he even earned a fine of $ 100,000 for flying on live television.
