Have you seen evidence of trade crimes? We want to hear from you.

As long as the United States had tariffs, importers have tried to find paths around them. However, the significant increase in tariffs in the past few months seems to have led to an increase in commercial and customs fraud.

I am Ana Swanson, the international trade reporter of the New York Times. I am not looking for any reported cases of how companies may avoid or withdraw the tariffs of President Trump for foreign goods. In order to better understand the topic and inform my reporting, I would like to hear from company owners and employees about what they saw first -hand. I would be particularly interested in finding out whether companies are trying to avoid tariffs for goods that fit into the supply chains of large companies. And I would like to know which tactics are often used to avoid the effects of tariffs.

I will read every submission and contact you if we want to learn more. I will not publish a submission without contacting you and hearing back. We use your contact information for no other reason to pursue them with you, and we do not share them outside of our news room.
