Man who were killed in the northwest apartment shooting that was identified by the medical examiner office

SAN ANTONIO – A man who was shot in an apartment complex Northwest Side on Saturday was identified by the office of the medical examiner Bexar County.

The 37 -year -old Marquise Durran Siger died of a gunshot wound, said the medical examiner's office on Thursday. His death was ruled as a murder.

The officials said they were sent on site shortly after 12:45 p.m. in the 11100 block of the West Loop 1604 North, south of the Bandera Road.

Siger was found with several gunshot wounds in the passage on the first floor of the building. He was declared dead at the crime scene, said SAPD.

According to a preliminary SAPD report, the officers found a weapon that was used at the shootout, and later held a 28-year-old woman at the scene.

The investigators said that the man and the woman knew themselves when “a disturbance occurred between the two parties,” the report said.

The police said that the events that led to the shootouts are unclear, and in another report, the suspect may have said an active protection arrangement to the victim. “

By Thursday, SAPD said that the woman had not been charged with a crime and no arrests were made. However, this could change depending on the result of the examination, the authorities said.
