Comparison of the City Connect BP Caps with their players

About a month ago, MLB began to publish City Connect key practice caps because PT Barnum Maxim keeps true There was apparently a need for another CAP team that could be offered for sale. In some cases, the BP cap is actually for the gamer CC Cap, while in other cases no BP -CC cap is literally required. Ok, these are all cases, but at least some of the new BP CC caps could and should replace what teams are currently wearing with their city connections.

I have taken a look at all CC -Batting Practice Caps that teams have received this year to combine with their CC version 1.0 uniforms. The eight teams who received new CCS (and the obligatory CC -BP caps) this year were previously checked and are not recorded here. This list contains BP caps for teams that have introduced CC uniforms from 2021-2024. At the moment, three teams are without city connection uniforms (Yankees, athletics and Cubs) and therefore have no CC caps at all, so that obviously no CC -BP caps were created.

We will go through all the caps and note whether the BP cap is better, worse or about the same as the regular CC caps.

__________

Bundesliga

EAST:

The Nationals and Marlins received new CCS this year, so that their BP caps are displayed in the link above.

Braves

The braves got a great cap with their CC, which of course is a hackback for the uniforms when Henry Aaron Babe Ruths Homerun record broke. The BP cap, on the other hand, is terrible. It is not only solid red, it also contains “the A” as a cap logo, with the worst feature of the CC jerseys repeated.

_________

New York Mets

The graphite CC cap of the METS-Graphites may have its fans, but the BP cap with purple rand and purple subway token-surked logo on the side bring the urgently needed color into the cap. While I presented the interlocking “NY” of the regular cap of the abbreviation of the NYC on the BP cap (which imitates the “NYC” on the jersey), the BP cap is a little better overall.

__________

Philadelphia Phillies

While most people are not fans of the CC uniform with gradient-heavy phillies, the CC cap was generally considered excellent. The BP cap in solid light blue with a dark naval stick with a tailor -made “P” (the same font as on the jersey) is a total level. To exist another upper limit for no reason.

__________

Central:

The Cubs are the only NL central team without a city connection.

Cincinnati Reds

The red CC is almost completely black, so the black cap works well with the uniform (and is probably the only good part of it), but the CC cap brings something red to the uniform, with a modified buckeye leaf and “Juncta -Juvant”, a Latin phrase that is “strength in unity” is Beneath. Juncta Juvant is the motto of both the city of Cincinnati and the University of Cincinnati

Milwaukee Brewers

In this case, the BP cap is so superior to the regular cap that it should be replaced immediately by the current cap, the ridiculous combination of abbreviation/area code. The use of the excellent grill sleeve face should be a hedgehog exchange.

__________

St. Louis Cardinals

The cardinals, such as the brewers and several other teams, went for the cap with a city abbreviation (the STL is located in a Tuscan font). But the BP cap with the Fleur de Lis/Arch logo is a little better. It is still a busy logo (and there is still a “STL”), but it is better than the almost generic-looking regular CC cap.

__________

Pittsburgh Pirates

One of the more beautiful CC caps is one Pittsburgh that combines with their uniform, and it actually looks like a normal pirate cap. The classic “P” of a black/gold cap looks good, although the fabric pattern is only visible up close (probably a good thing). Unfortunately, the solid black abbreviation does not work to abbreviation of the abbreviation of the abbreviation of “PGH”.

__________

West:

The Rockies, Diamondbacks and Giants have received all new CCS this year, so that their BP caps can be seen in the link above.

Los Angeles Dodgers

The Dodgers were the only team that received a CC version 2.0 last season, but they never really produced a good CC cap. Her first CC cap used Los Dodgers, which after the first season she used a black-remed “La” setting a small upgrade. Your new CC caps in Dodgers Blue like her first generation now have a combination “La” in a script “D” that is too busy, but at least it is in Dodgers Blue. The BP cap has the same logo, but in a light blue color. It is a downgrade.

___________

San Diego Padres

The Seafoam/MINT green of the club's CC cap is not great, but at least it has the classic (albeit modified) SD logo. I love the yellow gold color of the CC-BP cap, and the vibrating monk is always welcome, but the rendering of the Mönner in a pink logo makes it difficult to read due to a low contrast. I would say it's a thrust here, but no cap is so great.

__________

American league

EAST:

The Yankees have no CC uniform, while the Red Sox CC was checked in the introduction in the link.

Toronto Blue Jays:

The entire Blue Jays CC uniform is terrible, but at least your CC cap is interesting and uses a new logo based on the CC Uni. The BP CC cap, which contains the classic Blue Jay logo of the team and the contrasting Royal Brim, is comparable to the regular cap. Both would be okay with the CC.

__________

Baltimore Orioles

The Orioles original CC Cap was based on a special cap that was worn by the former Skipper Buck Showalter. The B was in orange, so the team made the B -white for the CC. Your CC BP is the same style, only multi -colored. I would say the BP cap is a better hair.

__________

Tampa Bay Strays

The rays may have the absolutely worst CC uniform from MLB, but the cap is one of the better offers. Your new BP cap with a skateboard -Ray in a light chartreuse definitely stands up. And I like the logo – but the original BP cap is really very, very good. It's a shame that it is wasted on such a terrible, terrible university.

__________

Central:

The White Sox received new CC uniforms this year, so that their caps are checked in the link above.

Cleveland Guardians

The guards have one of the best CC uniforms in MLB, and the cap is also pretty good. Your new BP cap with the new logo on the front panel is now a slight downgrade. Not bad, but the regular CC cap is better.

__________

Kansas City Royals

I was and am still not -a big fan of the Royals CC uniform, but I love the KC (with his font “Fountains” cap. I don't necessarily love that the Marineblau team uses, but the cap is solid. The powder blue cap with tailor -made “R” (in the same fountain script) is not so good. -Logo is also lost in light blue.

__________

Detroit tiger

Poor Detroit. You have not only helped a shitty CC uniform, your CC cap, which “Detroit” advertises. Unfortunately, the BP CC is somehow worse.

__________

Minnesota Twins

I liked the CC cap of the twins (and not hate the CC Uni), but the logo “10,000 lakes” at the side of the cap never liked. The BP cap is also quite attractive, even though the edge and the squatchee look black. The regular cap fits much better for the CC uniform.

__________

West:

The A's have no CC uniform, and the Astros CC is new, so three teams are shown in the department below.

Los Angeles Angels

The Engel City Connects were quiet one of the better offers, and they absolutely parked it with their hat. Unfortunately, the BP cap uses the complete “angel” word mark, but inexplicably also a white squatchy. It is certainly a downgrade.

__________

Seattle Mariners

I know that many of them do not like the CC uniforms of the M or at least the black trunk part, but I think they are pretty good. One reason for this is the incredibly good cap. If you give the team a purely black BP cap, the “PNW” logo will not be done the university enthusiasts. It shouldn't exist.

__________

Texas Rangers

The Rangers are another team that I thought that he did a good job with their CC uniforms, although I was not the biggest fan to use the Jersey “TX” logo on the cap. The solid red BP cap with the “Peagle” is great. I don't think it also fits the uniform, but it's really nice for yourself.

• • • • • •

And there you have it. While there is clearly no lack of caps, new era/MLB are ready to present -including the completely unnecessary CC -BP caps, at least some of them could replace the current CC caps. We have BP Caps, Road BP Caps and now CC BP Caps. I guess the next step will be change BP caps home and streets. Because PT Barnum knew what he was talking about.

Your thoughts? Stamm of one of these BP caps? If you are a collector (or fan of one of the teams listed above), will you copy a CC BP cap?
