2025 NFL week 1 chances: Division drama Highlights opening week

If there is ever doubts about how much NFL profit opportunities captivate the American sports betting masses, this uncertainty will be calm every May.

The schedule appears and eager bedors rise to the chances of the NFL week of the week, even though the games are 4.5 months away.

Of course, the NFL contains several marquee matchups that appeal to beds.

After the publication of the 2025-26 schedule on May 14th, a game falls to Joey Feazel, head of the football trade for Caesars Sportbook.

“The game on Sunday evening, Ravens vs. Bills, is obviously a huge matchup,” said Feazel. “This is the one we look forward to.”

But there is much more. Feazel helps with very early actions in the NFL week 1.

Division drama

The 2025-26 season opens on Thursday, September 4, and defending champion Philadelphia Eagles organizes the Dallas Cowboys. On Friday, September 5, it is the AFC champion Kansa's City Chiefs against the Los Angeles Chargers in São Paulo, Brazil.

“It is surprising to see that the NFL fits in these first two games with division rivalries,” said Feazel.

Last year the season opened on Thursday the chiefs against the Ravens, and the first Brazil game had the Eagles the Green Bay Packers. Two seasons ago the Chiefs have the Detroit Lions hosts in the first game of the season.

This time, however, it is divisions matchups. And the Prime Time Opener is one of the most popular games, with Philly a favorite with 7 points.

“Cowboys-Eagles acts on Dallas +7 measures,” said Feazel. “The Eagles have a great Bowl victory and they have lost a few players in defense. They also lost the offensive coordinator Kellen Moore, who is now the head coach of the saint.

“So we see the money of some cowboys on the spread.”

As for the KC showdown against La Neutral-Site, the chiefs in Caesars' NFL Woche 1 are modest 2.5-point favorites.

“We get some bosses, both on the Moneyline and on the spread,” said Feazel, while he found that Kansas City will be liability for quota makers this season. “There will be many big decisions that bet on the chiefs this year because they have eight independent games.

NFL rocks on fox

Another divisional game that will draw some eyeballs and bet the attention: Cincinnati Bengals against Cleveland Browns on Sunday, September 7th.

Deshaun Watson recovers from an Achilles tear. Joe Flacco returned as Free Agent this low season and Kenny Pickett arrived with the Eagles about a trade.

From there it becomes much more interesting. The Browns chose Oregon QB Dillon Gabriel in the third round of the NFL design of 2025, then came back and took Shedur Sanders in the fifth round, with the Colorado QB breathtaking down the design board.

“This is a QB battle that will be talked about in summer,” said Feazel. “Flacco will be needy and pickett is a QB that you have paid to be a backup.

“It will be a funny QB competition. But I don't expect it to be Sanders or Gabriel. I don't think you will throw either rookie QB outside in week 1.”

The Bengals are 5.5-point favorites at the opening on Sunday.

Another divisional duel

The Detroit Lions visit the Green Bay Packers in an NFC North Battle of Week 1. Detroit has an impressive defeat against Washington in the NFC Division round.

Not all lions are lost. The offensive coordinator Ben Johnson went to take over the head coach of Chicago Bears, and the defense coordinator Aaron Glenn also did for the New York Jets.

“There is still a big talent in this team. We will see how much Johnson and Glenn have been influenced,” said Feazel.

It is a game of a game in Lambeau Field, with Green Bay a 1-point home favorite.

“There is not much action yet, and I don't blame beders. It is a very tight matchup and should be a very good game,” said Feazel.

Sunday evening showdown

As Feazel mentioned above, Ravens Vs. Bills tower the NFL week 1 oddsboard. Buffalo is a 1.5 point home favorite.

“It's a massive matchup,” he said. “Action in relation to this is pretty balanced. There was a little sharp money in the lower.”

However, the game of Ravens -Bills has the highest point in the first week 1. So fireworks are certainly expected when the last two NFL -MVPS play. Bills 'QB Josh Allen was appointed MVP last season, a year after Ravens' QB Lamar Jackson had picked up his second MVP price.
