Man who is accused of murder due to the death of the officer, who is now charged for possession of fentanyl

The man who was charged with the death of an Osage Beach police officer is suspended another crime debt.

Christopher Wehmeyer was charged with the second degree murder and tightened because of the standstill – leads to death.

On April 28, 2025, the prosecutors added an indictment for the possession of a controlled substance.

Court documents stated that the prosecutors said that the Wehmeyer had fentanyl on him during the chase.

A trial was planned for July 9, in which the court decides on an application to change the legal proceedings.

On August 31, police officers saw 54 90 miles per hour on the Highway at 90 miles per hour.

They started persecution, but said that he had ignored the signals and allegedly reached speeds over 100 miles per hour.

The chase continued through a cross between Highway 54 and Chase Road in Osage Beach, where another Obpd officer joined the persecution.

Wehmeyer finally left Highway 54 at the Route Y exit and went east on Route A.

During the chase on Route A, Officer Phylicia Carson was involved in a collapse with a vehicle.

She succumbed to her injuries and was declared dead at the crime scene.

Wehmeyer finally crashed with his car and was arrested and taken to Camden County prison.
