1 dead in the fiery crash on the Knox Bridge Highway in Cherokee County

Cherokee County, GA. – – A man was killed on Wednesday afternoon with a fiery crash on the Knox Bridge Highway near Fieldstone Drive in the Cherokee County.

What we know:

The deputies reacted to the scene at around 12:31 p.m. and found a Chevrolet truck that had been completely incorporated into flames. Firefighters from Cherokee County Fire and Retting Services deleted the fire, but the adult male driver of the vehicle was declared dead at the scene of the crime.

A second vehicle, a Dodge truck, was also involved in the crash. This driver drove before driving over and continued 911 into a short distance. He was not injured in the incident.

What we don't know:

The identity of the deceased man has not yet been released until the next queue notifications are given.

The Cherokee Sheriff's Office Traffic Enforcement Unit examines the cause of the crash. No fees were submitted at this point.
