Former Waco ISD teacher who was charged with children's injuries

Waco, Texas (KWTX) – A former teacher of independent school districts in Waco, who was arrested last month for charges, was violated on Thursday due to crimes for third degrees for special needs in her classroom.

Randi Lynn Fowler (45) charged a Grand jury from McNennan County for three injuries to a child and charged up to 10 years in prison in each case.

According to arrest documents, a Waco ISD officer was informed by an employee for child protection services about a presumed incident on March 31 in the Dean Highland Elementary School, 3300 Maple Ave..

A witness announced CPS and police investigators that Fowler, a special school teacher, put a 7-year-old boy on a chair on her desk after the child started. According to Fowler's backpack, the child was reported to, and Fowler put the child on the face, claims the affidavit.

The child began to cry and Fowler forced him to sit under her desk, the witness told the investigators.

During the investigation of the alleged abuse, the investigators reported that, according to an affidavit, they had learned about three earlier incidents with Fowler and the student.

The indictment against Fowler with three points claims that she injured the child by “packing and/or stamping on him and/or it kicks”: “By packing him and/or pushed him and/or kicks him”; And through “he grabbed and/or beats him and/or beat him”.

Fowler's lawyer, Cody Cleveland, rejected a comment on Fowler's indictment.

Fowler remains free after bonds of a total of 30,000 US dollars are published.
