Scheifele leaves game 5 with obvious injuries

Mark Scheifele, striker of Winnipeg Jets, left the 5th game 5 against the St. Louis Blues with obvious injury.

Blues captain Brayden Schnen caught Scheifele with a big hit in the first period. Schenn was rated a minor punishment for the inclined.

Scheifele played in the first two more layers. He got up late at a goal from Blues striker Radek Faksa.

The 32-year-old did not play in the second period and was excluded by the jets to start the third.

Vladislav Namestnikov replaced Scheifele next to Kyle Connor and Gabe Vilardi. Namestnikov scored his first goal in 20 games late in the second half.

Scheifele had support in the first period and has two goals and six points in the series as a whole. In the regular season, he recorded 39 goals and a career high of 87 points.

The trophy award winners of the President rose 2-0 in the series, but the blues defended the home to even draw 2-2.
