The 31 -year -old Elias Rodriguez called “Free Palestine” when he was led away after his arrest, and informed the police that he was the one who “did it”, according to the accusers, provided the frightening new details of an attack on Wednesday evening, in which an American woman and an Israeli man were killed that should behave.

The authorities described the killings as a targeted act of terrorism.

Rodriguez is charged with murder of foreign civil servants and other crimes. Additional charges are likely, the prosecutors said on Thursday, since the authorities continue to examine the murders as hate crimes against the Jewish community and terrorism.

“Violence against anyone is based on their religion is an act of cowardice. It is not an act of a hero,” said Jeanine Pirro, the US lawyer of the District of Columbia. “Anti -Semitism is not tolerated, especially in the capital of the nation.”

Court documents published on Thursday stated that the shootout was recorded on surveillance videos outside the museum. The authorities showed that Rodriguez fired the victims to the ground several times after falling.

After he had been arrested, Rodriguez Detective said that he admired the man who set fire to fire outside of the Israeli embassy in February 2024 and described the man as “brave” and “martyr”, according to court documents.

Rodriguez also informed the detectives that according to court documents, he bought tickets for the event in the museum.

The two people killed, who were identified as Yaron Lischinsky, an Israeli citizen, and Sarah Milgrim, an American, were, according to Yechiel Head, the Israeli ambassador, in the USA, he said Lischinsky bought a ring this week to propose a ring next week.

The breathtaking attack on Wednesday evening caused Israeli missions to improve their security and reduce their flags to half the most. It came when Israel launched another big offensive in the Gaza Strip in a war with Hamas, which increased the tensions in the Middle East and International and as anti -Semitic acts.
