The forensic doctor identifies victims who were killed in the aircraft crash of Nordkolorado

Broomfield, Colorado (KKTV) -The office of the Coroner Coroner in Boulder County identified two people who died on Sunday morning in a small plane crash.

The plane crashed north of the Highway 36 in Boomfield and was still within sight of Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport.

North Metro Fire said that the plane started from Rocky Mountain National Airport around 10 a.m., and shortly afterwards the pilot tried to return to the airport because of an emergency.

According to Radio Dispatch, which was preserved from 11 News Sister station CBS Denver, the air traffic pilot said that their door was “open” and that they would have to get back to land.

The Federal Aviation Administration included that between the airport and the crash had only stayed five minutes between the start and the crash.

Both people on the plane died in the impact.

On Thursday, the Coroner's Office of the Boulder County identified the 80-year-old Eugene Knutson and 74-year-old James Gelaude than the two people who died in this crash.
