My morning jacket publish surreal and joyful video for new single “Everyday Magic”

“The song” Everyday Magic “came from meeting someone who taught me to see the magic in the simple things that we often take for granted,” says Jim James, singer/guitarist of my morning jacket. Today the band publishes a fun and joyful official music video for the track, which is staged by Amanda Kramer (Magdalena Bay) to add the simple but complex emotions that flow into their writing.

“We no longer performed historically in many of our music videos, but I always wanted to make an MMJ music video for a song that has silly and fun, and it felt like 'Everyday Magic' was a perfect song for which we would do this,” says James.

“I had a vision of running around and doing various activities that” funny! “In a surreal way I came across some wonderful videos made by The Amazing Amanda Kramer.

“It is rare that a band wants to work together and even less often that they want to be creatively surprised,” says Kramer. “I loved this process – from preparation to the post, we laughed, amused, danced, and ultimately paid the art service for the single, a song that should be a pop -timistic hit. My morning jacket is five talented men … The smile.”

My morning jacket recently completed the opening leg of her My Morning jacket “Is” on tour, a significant run that was emphasized by a series of unforgettable achievements, historical awards and much more.

First and foremost, the band returned an unforgettable return to their beloved Louisville, Ky, with “Come Home Wee: a celebration of Louisville”, a series of special events that were highlighted by a very special five-night stand in the famous Louisville Palace. In the fully sold-out return celebration, the band performed 105 songs without repetitions in the course of five completely unique shows, with highlights, including a number of fan favorites from their new album celebrated by the criticism, is now available via ATO Records.

At the beginning of May my morning jacket concluded the 2025 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival with a performance designated by Relix for its “unexploited energy”.
