2-year-old killed in SW in Houston and identified as Egypt, suspected on the whole

Houston, Texas (KTRK) – A family experienced in the southwest of Houston Herzschmerz after the police said that a 2-year-old girl was killed in a hit-and-run.

The little girl's family says their name is Egypt, and the person who beats them remains a mystery.

The apartment complex, in which the 2-year-old Egypt was fatally injured, is calm on Thursday, but Wednesday evening had a flood of activities when the police tried to disguise what had happened.

According to the Houston police, the officials were called to the apartment complex on Ocee Street at around 6 p.m. on Wednesday after reporting that several men walk around with weapons. When they arrived there, they learned that a child was also involved in a hit and run.

ABC13 spoke to Egypt's mother and brother. The mother said they called in 911 after finding Egypt in the parking lot. After waiting, they had the feeling that the ambulance took too long for them to arrive and drove them to the hospital by car when their father did an HLW in the back seat. It was too late.

A new police publication said that the injuries to Egypt agreed with those of a crash.

Egypt's brother said after the incident that family members asked if someone saw or knew something, but when nobody had answered, a family member pulled a weapon and asked the police.

“It breaks my heart because I have an almost two -year -old,” said the complex resident Justin Jones.

Jones came home when he saw investigators in the complex. While he had previously seen the police in the apartment, he never said for something like that. At the moment, the police have not said how the child was hit or who did it, although Jones says that cars are fast in the complex.

“I see how people drive fast, even though there are countless speed bumps. I don't know why they would go over an increase in speed so quickly,” said Jones.

The police have neither unveiled one person nor a car or if charges were charged. Eyewitness News knows that Detective learned that the child was outside with a family member, ran inside to get a forgotten object and when it came back, the child was met.
