Soldier Garrett Macario allegedly gave investigations after the crash of the Raleigh police department false and misleading information.

Since then, Lorrin Freeman, District Prosecutor of Wake County, has reduced 180 cases because of the doubts about the credibility of Macario.

Freeman announced on Wednesday that she will not file an indictment against Macario or his superiors.

She announced ABC11 that the evidence would not support successful law enforcement of the case.

“It is very comfortable,” said seller. “She gives these officials the advantage of doubt that a normal citizen of Wake County would not get.”

Last March, Mason's mother demanded that the soldiers be fired and said she was on the mission to find out what happened to her son.

“I never thought that my baby would leave this world in front of me,” said Henrietta Mason.
