Kimberly and Gooding Softball Progress in the SCIC tournament; Wednesday Idaho Prep Softball Scores

Kimberly, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) -The Kimberly -Softball team continued its dominant season on Wednesday evening.

Kimberly defeated Buhl 8: 4 to get into the second round of the Sawtooth Central Idaho Conference tournaments.

After a goalless three innings, Kimberly broke out for five runs in the fourth inning.

The bulldogs would add three more in the fifth and sixth inner inner, while Buhl came back, but it wasn't enough for the Indians.

Jaci Cowger, Mallory Kelsey, Addi Cann, Brooklyn Verzy and Kalynn Benson each had two goals in the victory. Cann had two RBIs.

Hope Ward had a triple with two runs in the fourth inning.

Kelsey won Kimberly and gave up nine goals and four runs (three deserved) over seven innings. She took care of it and went one.

Adalyn Pearson took the loss for Buhl. She allowed six runs (five earned) on 12 goals. She excluded two and went one.

Addyson Ridley led the Indians onto the plate and went with an RBI 3-4.

Jenna Ambrose and Megan Ambrose each had two goals and both drove in the run.

Gooding 3, Filer 2

After a run, Gooding scored two goals in the fifth two goals.

Kodi Garza traced herself in the inning to achieve a score while Olivia Rogers achieved the starting letter.

Rogers delivered the other number of points in the first inn on an RBI double.

Jaelynn Patton led Gooding on the plate with two goals.

Kaylee Silver gets victory for the senators. She allowed four hits and two runs (a deserved) over seven innings. Silver beat five and went one.

Ava Smith took the loss for filers. She allowed three runs with six goals while she hit six and two went.

Four wildcats collected hits, while Daniella Delarosa had a single with two runs.

Gooding will play in the second round of Kimberly on Friday at 5:00 a.m.

Filer will organize Buhl in a losing game at the same time.
