Ex-met in it call to complain about injury to Tarp, who ended his career

It seems that Cincinnati call has something bad.

The 38-year-old reputation sued the Reds about an injury to the career, which he crashed into an uncovered plane roller in the Great American Ball Park in 2023.

The lawsuit accuses Cincinnati not to maintain secure field conditions and quotes the tarpaulin roller.

Call played the first basis for the brewers when the incident occurred on June 2, 2023 and the kneecap broke out after he had collided with the Tarp scooter while he was pursuing a foulball during a game against the red.

“That didn't have to happen,” said Ruf in an explanation. “I wish it hadn't happened. The players shouldn't have to worry about hidden dangers in a field of the Major League.”

The complaint states that reputation has suffered “permanent and considerable deformities on his knee” and claimed that the plane roller had no protective padding and consisting of sharp metal.

After the injury, call was placed on the 60-day injury list and never played in the big leagues.

“This was an obvious and avoidable risk,” said Tad Thomas, Ruf's lawyer, in a press release in which the lawsuit was announced. “There are fundamental security protocols that every MLB team should follow. It is unexcused to leave a unaduvited metal roller on the edge of the field.”

According to the complaint, call strives for criminal and compensatory damage and explains that the red have not taken any precautionary measures while it is liable for the careless actions of the terrain statute.

Ruf spent nine seasons in MLB, together with a three-year stay in the KBO from 2017-19.

The Giants exchanged calls during the 2022 season at the end of the trade.

He was largely disappointing and only beat 0.152 with an ops of 0.413 in 28 games in New York.

After his short -lived term with the METs, call opened the treatment of fans he received.

“Wherever they fight, the fans will be hard in New York, but it is enlarged in New York,” Ruf told The Athletic in April 2023. “I think the media there really run with the perceptions of the fans.

“Even if they are not much on social media, they still have an idea and see things.”
