1. 2026: The supporters of Iyiola Omisores join PDP, get a new name

Before the elections of the Governor elections in 2026 in the state of Osun, thousands of supporters who are the former National Secretary of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and the ex-deputy governor of the Osun state, Senator Iyiola Omisore, have loyal loyal.

Osun's defense lawyer reports that the decampees, which mostly come from the Omisore Youth Support Forum (OSSF), were recorded in the PDP State Secretariat in Osogbo on Wednesday.

2. 2026: Governor Adelek's representative steps down

Before the elections of the Governor elections in 2026 in the state of Osun, Mercy Ayodele, one of Governor Ademola Adelekes, submitted her resignation from the board to the Obokun.

In a formal letter to the chairman of the educational authority in Ibokun, which was seen on Wednesday afternoon by the defender of Osun, the former board member quoted personal reasons for the resignation of her role.

“I appreciate the opportunity to have served and I am grateful for the experience gained,” wrote Ayodele and commented on the board and thus the state administration under governor Adeleke.

Ayodele also noticed that it was time for her to “resign” due to unknown personal reasons.
