After illegal auto drama, the Nascar star Denny Hamlin takes a thin excavation with Team Penske

Denny Hamlin after the Indy 500 qualification scandal last weekend in the Penske team last weekend hardly rose in the foreground.

The historic team had punished two of their cars for illegal parts, what Josef Newgarden and wants to push power for the race on Sunday into the back of the field.

This punishment was followed by three important members of the team's Indycar operation, which were released on Wednesday, including Team President Tim Cindric, father of the Nascar Cup series driver Austin.

The topic of the Indy 500 came on Hamlin's disadvantageous podcast this week and discussed the number of massive wrecks during the week of training and qualification, including one for his rival Kyle Larson, the rival of the Cup series.

Hamlin: Indy 500 has convincing stories this year

“From the point of view of a viewer … I don't want someone to be hurt. I'm safe in business, so I understand,” explained Hamlin in the podcast.

“But it has made it more convincing to look after me because I know that the cars are more nervous. They don't know what they will see, is the person, do you have to lift or not?

“I think if it's easy to open [throttle] And it's just about how Slick can make your team your car. If you are part of the Penske team, it seems that you have made your car a little too chic … It is convincing from this point of view.

“And then we obviously had a surprise. New team, new driver for Ovale who won the survey for the Indy 500, right? Good convincing stories.”
