Dayton welcomes the global media because the NATO assembly emphasizes the city's international skills

Dayton, Ohio (WKEF) – approximately 233 accredited media from all corners of the world are here in Dayton to cover the NATO parliamentary meeting 2025.

Cathy Petersen is media coordinator of the spring session of NATO Parliamentary Assembly. She says that her communication team is working with local and state partners to make the process seamlessly and ensure that every journalist receives reporting on the NATO assembly that he needs.

“We have many of our local and regionals that are our Dayton stations for television, and we also have pressure, but it also branches nationwide. So we have people who come from Columbus and Cincinnati, but they also have people who come from New York City or Chicago, and even over the people who come from the Balkans from that from New York.”

According to Petersen, the media will be available from various delegates or other people from the US government who can speak to the journalists, and with more than 200 journalists in NATO village reporting on the meeting is the organization of the key.

“You receive many inquiries and try to achieve this. We would also like to ensure that our locals are also available, whether this is in the district government or in the city government to really tell the history of Dayton, Ohio,” said Petersen.

The opening speeches will begin on Friday afternoon with meetings and special events in the weekend. The assembly ends on Monday, May 26th.
