“I'm happy to say I have two NBA records that are never broken” -Rashed Wallace admits that he is proud of his notorious technical fouls record

There is an unmistakable edge that Rashed Wallace has always followed. A person of the personality who checked into a game long before. He had a call like a badge – brazen, defiant, emotional.

But under the headlines were the viral outbreaks and these endless whistles were a player of rare instinct and relentless grit. Two decades after his flowering, Wallace does not run with the sound. He has it.

Wallaces technical heritage

Rasheed has not combined in its past. He smiles at it. He knows the costs for the career he cut out and what is more important, he knows how much of the referees the weight of what he has achieved.

“I am happy to say I have two NBA records that will never be broken” he said. “You have 40 technical technicians in one season. I doubt that this will ever be broken.”

During the 2000-01 NBA season, Wallace collected 41 technical fouls, a record that is still standing. It will probably still stand because the NBA is currently at a time when the behavior on the square is checked by cameras from every perspective. The technical data is distributed regularly, so that Wallace is a runaway in every respect.

It was not only how often Rashed collided with civil servants, but how innocent it did. He was a player who was obsessed with the win and did things right – even if his delivery sank everything around him. Wallace's technical data were not always irritated. Many of them came from the defense of teammates or challenging calls, of which he believed that they had distorted the integrity of the game.

And even with these 41 technicians, Wallace was no liability. He remained one of the most dreaded defensive of his generation. In the same season he scored an average of 19.2 points, 7.8 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game with the Portland Trail Blazers, who carried the franchise in the playoffs and establish themselves as an emotional compass of a chaotic changing room.

Defense

When Portland Wallace gave a stage to build his identity, it was the Detroit pistons that transformed him into a champion. Sheed was traded to the pistons in February 2004 and arrived like jet fuel, which was poured onto a slowly burning flame. What followed was one of the most famous defensive routes in NBA history – he was proud of his commitment.

“This defensive stay we had when I was with the pistons when we had seven or eight games and organized teams with a high score under 70 points.” Wallace remembered. “And I swear, the last two games we made, we tried to do it. But we only played the first five or six games we made.”

This was done at a time when Allen Iverson, Kobe Bryant and Tracy Mcgrady separate display boards in the evening. With him and Ben Wallace, the defense of Detroit became a little close to religious. Rotations were crispy. Help came instinctively. The opposite large men were triggered. These Piston's unit under coach Larry Brown is based on discipline and violence – the way that took place between the elbows and the edge.

The NBA title of the Piston's 2004-Gut a star squad of Los Angeles Lakers with stars, the Shaquille O'Neal, Bryant, Karl Malone and Gary Payton-has one of the biggest disturbances in the league.

Wallace increased this system. In this series, he scored an average of 13.0 points, 7.8 rebounds and 1.8 blocks and his presence inside the lakers' offensive rhythm.
