Sacramento Kings announces NBA -draft training with Star Prospect

The Kings only had a chance of 3.8%of having a draft in the first round for 2025, and it is not surprising that they will not choose in the first round. Sacramento keeps the 42nd overall selection, but there were signs that the team could consider to act. The Kings previously met with Jeremiah Fears, who is projected as a top 10 selection, and this week Sacramento announces another meeting with a likely first runner.

Yaxel Lendeborg committed himself to the Michigan Wolverines in the transfer portal and declared himself for the draft. Lendeborg still keeps his college authorization, but he will have a difficult decision to make very soon.

The wrestler is currently projecting the former university of Alabama in Birmingham striker as a 27th overall victory for the Brooklyn Nets, but it seems that Sacramento is at least interested in seeing him up close.

Yaxel is an older view with an unconventional path to the NBA (or Michigan) after going to Junior College before he switched to UAB. In Arizona Western Lendeborg became a really solid striker, an average of 17 points and 13 rebounds per game and last year raised the UAB Blazers' attention.

Lendeborg took the JC route partly for fighting during the high school. Due to bad grades, Yaxel only played a complete college season last year and did not play at all in his second and junior years. At the age of 22, Lendeborg played a long way with his game.

Lendeborg scored almost 18 points, over 11 rebounds and 3.6 shares per game in Birmingham, while he also presented his death with 4.3 templates. During the combine, Lendeborg came with a 7'4 -inch wingspan 6,8.5 ”with a wingspan and played very well in drills.

It is not a promise that Lendeborg will remain in the design, but his performance and measurements could be enough for him to make the jump. Together with the Kings, the jazz of Utah Lendeborg will bring in a training session, which gives the thought more fire that it may not be playing in Ann Arbor next season.

The Ringer's J. Kyle man had to say that about Lendeborg. “Lendeborg has played high-ranking organized tires in the past six years, and the jump he made from his Junior College band 2020 is one of the wilder things I saw in my time that I saw in my time. ”

After looking at some ribbon in Arizona Western and watching him at Uab, I agree that Lendeborg is a completely different player. In Arizona Western, Yaxel used his large framework as a solid finish and rebounder, but there was no signs that he would turn into what he was today.

At Uab, Lendeborg developed into a good jump shooter, an excellent defender, and even took care of where he shot almost 36%. As good as an inner scorer is yaxel, it really shines as a playmaker.

Lendeborg makes quick decisions, on time, and can go forward in the NBA like some of the best in the NBA. Lendeborg seems to know exactly where every single player is in his team and creates open shots for his teammates when they have doubled or have completed off -counter rebounds.

Yaxel played at Uab and was not faced with the same competition, the EGOR Demin, Derik Queen and Collin Murray-Boyles did, but I think it's completely fair to play him with these three in terms of his skills.

Lendeborg is similarly excellent in defense and uses its framework for its full skills. While he is not an incredible athlete (31.5-inch Max-Vert), Yaxel uses his long arms and instincts to beat himself as a shot blocker. Lendeborg also looked surprisingly pleasant to switch to guards, where he used his reach again to get basketball on the way to 1.8 steals per game.

There are some Scottie Barnes shadows in Lendeborg's game, but he absolutely has to show more after playing against a lower competition at the UAB.

It would be a great risk to exchange for Lendeborg for Lendeborg after two seasons at Uab, but he could be the perfect combination alongside Domantas Sabonis. If Lendeborg is able to maintain the same production against the NBA competition, his binding, his defense, evaluation and size of the interior would be an enormous thrust for kings next year.

I would be a big fan of the kings who make a shot here and believe that Lendeborg's floor is high enough that he will be able to achieve an influence at the next level.
