Pritzker added that the Americans are obliged to “stand for peace and reject bigotry”. He said a team member who took part in the event was “shaken”, but certainly.

In an opening declaration during an executive business meeting of the judicial committee of the judicial committee, Senator Dick Durbin (d-il.) Pritzker feel.

“Violence has no place, no place in our society and has to be pursued in full criminal law,” said Durbin. “There is no justification, none for hate speeches, hate crimes or anti -Semitism, neither from the left nor the right side of the political spectrum.”

According to an affidavit, which was submitted to the US district court for the District of Columbia, Rodriguez told a Metropolitan Police Department official: “I did it for Palestine, I did it for Gaza, I am unarmed.” When he was accompanied by the police, he called “Free Palestine” according to an affidavit.

The congress candidate Kat AbuBhazaleh said on X that she was “horrified” by the shootout.

“The fact that the shooter said he did” free Palestine “, makes me sick,” said AbuGhazaleh in one post. “The murder of people for their nationality is hideous. This violence violates Jews, Israelis * and * Palestinians.”

The mayor and congress candidate of Evanston, Daniel Biss, also went to X after the shootout and said he was “angry and broken with broken heart”. Senator Laura Fine (D-Glenview) gave a similar contribution and both called for measures to fight hate.

“My heart is with the victims, their families and the Jewish community,” wrote Fine about X.
