Braves Star Acuña to return from the left knee injury on Friday

Washington – Ronald Acuña Jr. is ready to give his season debut for the Atlanta Braves on Friday evening.

The good ones announced after Thursday evening loss against Washington This Acuña will return from a left knee injury that has brought him out of the way for almost a year when Atlanta opened a series with three games at home against San Diego.

The 2023 NL MVP recently tore the ACL in its left knee May 26th and was operated on on June 6th. Acuña played six games in the minors with a rehab task that went 6 for 15 with two homes.

Acuña played in just 49 games last season and beat .250 with four Homern, 15 RBis, 16 stolen bases and an ops .716 ops.

He was a unanimous winner of the NL MVP Award in 2023 when he met with 41 Homeruns, 106 RBIs and a 1.012 surgery in the league .336. Acuña steel this year also 73 bases to become the only player with 40 homers and 70 steals in one season.

The 27-year-old Acuña is a four-time all-star and has 165 Homer and 195 stolen bases in 722 career games.
