Child killed, three other people injured after the vehicle strike group was beaten near the Dallas Elementary School, says the police, the police say

One child was killed and three more, including two children and one adult, were injured on Thursday afternoon after, according to Dallas Police, he had been approached by a truck near Felix G. Botello Elementary School in Oak Cliff.

Officials from the independent school district of Dallas confirmed that the three children and two 8-year-old girls' students were at the school. One of the children died of their injuries. The other two remain in a critical but stable state in the Children's Medical Center. The adult is in a stable state.

The residents say that the area is dangerous

Brian Evans, another neighbor, expressed grief, but no surprise.

“I'm very sad about it, but I'm not surprised,” said Evans. “There are children who always cross the street who go to the apartment complex.”

Evans almost remembered a recently in the same place.

“It was a young gentleman who walked across the street with two little girls – and literally two children were almost hit,” he said. “The car had to stop immediately.”
