Kaufman, Texas – – A child is dead after he went on what the Kaufman police call an accident with a family member on Thursday.

According to the Kaufman police authority, the police and fire brigade units reacted to the 400 block of the East Hickory Street after a small child was seriously injured after an incident with a vehicle.

In the press release it was found that the small child was accidentally run over by a family member. Family members had already brought the child to the Texas Health Kaufman Hospital when civil servants arrived at the scene.

Attempts were made to save the child's life, but in the end the child was declared dead when the emergency room.
