Ronald Acuna Jr. to return from knee injuries for Braves vs. Padres series

Ronald Acuña Jr. will return to the field on Friday after almost a whole year in front of the field, the Atlanta Braves announced on Thursday evening.

After several reports had been stated, the message comes from the injured list for the team of the team against the San Diego Padres on Friday.

David O'Brien from Athletic found that Acuña was scratched from the line-up for Triple-A Gwinnett on Thursday, which indicates his upcoming return.

On May 26, Acuña suffered a torn ACL in the left knee last season when he took an unpleasant step to bluff the theft of the third basis. Acuña also tore his right ACL in 2021 and cost it a large part of the seasons 2021 and 2022.

In 49 games a year ago, Acuña had four Homeruns, 15 RBI and an average of 0.250 blow.

In his last healthy season in 2023, Acuña 41 Homeruns, 106 RBI, 73 stolen bases and an average value of 0.337, met enough to win his first NL -MVP. When he returns to diamond this week, the good will try to get this version of him.

Acuña said in February that he was safe from the ACL operation “90-95 percent” and at the beginning of this month a large milestone when he started playing for the Braves team of the Florida Complex Complex. A few days later he appeared for Triple-A Gwinnett for the first time.

Acuña's return comes at a good time because the good starts after a mediocre starting into the year. Atlanta is currently in third place in the NL East and three games behind the game map with 24-24 in the season.

Acuña has the chance to return to a great way, while the braves of one of the top teams in the majors take over in front of a home crowd.
