Thunder's updated opportunities to win the NBA final after they had beaten wolves in the WCF game 2

The Oklahoma City Thunder is only two victories away from reaching the NBA final for the first time since 2012.

The Thunder won another dominant victory against the Minnesota Timberwolves in the second game of the Western Conference Finale to put a 2-0 series in the lead.

But Oklahoma City has bigger goals than just a final – the thunder would like to win everything for the first time since 1979 when they were still in Seattle. The chances are in their favor.

OKC -310 has chances to win the title by Fanduel Sportsbook. The Indiana Pacers sit behind them at +600, the New York Knicks are at +800 and the wolves have the worst chances at +2000.

A championship has felt good for thunder since the beginning of the season, but after she had put together an NBA-Best 68-14 record, it seemed even more realistic to go into the off-season.

Okc drove past the Memphis Grizzlies in the first round before winning a hard -fought series with seven games against Denver Nuggets in the second round. After the fight in the conference semifinals, thunder has returned to the dominant shape.

Oklahoma City gave the tone for the final of the Western Conference with an 114-88 looting of the Timberwolves in game 1. Things were not quite as easy in game 2, but the Thunder put Minnesota 118-103 behind 38 points made of newly crowned MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alsexander.

The worst thing that Oklahoma City can do in the series at this time is that the potential opponent in the NBA final is ahead, but that will not prevent fans from doing so.

If the thunder can achieve two more victories, you will receive a matchup against the Pacers or the Knicks. While both Indiana and New York looked great in the off -season, it is easy to see why OKC was crowned the favorite to win the championship.

A lot can happen between now and the final – in injuries, blown leads, etc. – but the thunder are in a clear game in a crucial game 3.
