Looked desperate, witnesses incorrectly helped the man who killed the Israeli employee of Elias Rodriguez

Washington:

After the street outside the Jewish Capital Museum in DC, witnesses echoed with shots of water and help a man from whom they held, a traumatized viewer. Minutes later, they learned that he was the man who allegedly shot the two Israeli diplomats.

The 30 -year -old Elias Rodriguez seemed visibly desperate and disoriented when he entered the museum after shooting on Wednesday evening. Witnesses hurried to help him without knowing that he had shot Yaron Lischinsky (28) and Sarah Milgrim (26) before receiving the young diplomats of the American Jewish Committee of the American Jewish Committee.

“He was wet, in a state of shock,” Yoni Kalin, who was in the event, told NY Post. “We just thought he was a viewer.”

Sara Marinuzzi, another witness, said Rodriguez entered the museum shortly after the shootout. “We all thought he was a witness [because] He was so shaken, “she said.

Witnesses said they acted instincts. “When a man has run in need, the immediate instinct must be helped,” said Ms. Marinuzzi. “And we did that.”

Mr. Kalin remembered that Elias Rodriguez was quiet until the police arrived when he suddenly confessed and said: “I did it. I did it for Gaza” and shouted: “Free, free Palestine from the river to the sea and there is only one solution, the Intifada revolution.”

Panic broke out when he reached into his backpack, but instead of a weapon he pulled out a red Keffiyeh scarf. He was then tackled by the employees and the security of the museum before he was arrested by the police.

Mr. Lischinsky and Mrs. Milgrim, colleagues and romantic partners of the Israeli embassy in DC, were shot to a zebra crossing while approaching. Safety material shows how Rodriguez gets past them, turns and fires several rounds. After they had collapsed, he stepped closer and fired again and emptied 21 balls from a 9 -mm gun.

The day before, Elias Rodriguez traveled from Chicago to DC with the legally bought weapon in his certified luggage. He was in the city for a work -related conference.

Mr. Lischinsky was declared dead at 9:14 p.m. at 9:14 p.m. Ms. Milgrim died shortly after driving to the hospital.

Elias Rodriguez is now exposed to several charges, including murder. According to the police, he admired Aaron Bushnell, the former US soldier, who set fire to fire outside the Israeli message last year and screams “Free Palestine”. Rodriguez called him a “martyr”.
