NC Troopers Investigation | The videos are published in Tyrone Mason Death, day after the decision not to burden NCSHP officials

Raleigh, NC (WTVD) – A video that is of central importance for a investigation initiated by the Wake County public prosecutor in January will be published on Friday.

This is followed by the judgment of a judge last week, in which the Dash Cam and the Body CAM film material in connection with a fatal crash last October against Capital Boulevard in Raleigh.

In his decision, judge Thomas Currin said that it was in the best interest of the public and the credibility of law enforcement that records of the fatal crash of 31-year-old Tyrone Mason are published.

“I think that the publication of these videos is necessary to improve a convincing public interest, namely trust in law enforcement,” said Currin. “In addition, the public has a convincing right to know why the Wake County had to reject more than 180 cases due to these officials. I think there is a good reason to publish the videos.”
