Alex Rins 'not painful' because of a terrible 2023 MotoGP leg injury

Yamaha driver Alex Rins revealed that he had “no pain” from the terrible injuries he had suffered from 2023 during the Italian MotoGP sprint.

Rins' Crash left him with a broken right Tibia and Fibula, which led to a long expression on the edge.

Almost two years later, the Spaniard is still asked about the injuries who forced him to use a leg clip and crutch to walk.

“To be honest, I feel good” Motorsport weekOn Thursday in front of the British Grand Prix.

“I no longer wear the carbon [leg brace]. I feel better than a few months ago.

“I feel good every day. I mean, I'm happy because nobody asks for my bike or in the press because I have no pain in my bike from a long time ago.

“It is true that I can't run, but you know that every day looks better and better in the gym.

“I do additional gym, additional leg days to have more muscles in the quads and in the gluts muscles and in everything.

“So I don't know if you made a leg day in the gym, but you can, you know after a few leg days how you work.”

Alex Rins welcomes 'astonishing' Silverstone Track

The 29-year-old begins for the first time in 2022 on his first full weekend in Silverstone after leaving the 2023 and 2024 issues due to separate injuries.

Rins was not afraid of his affection for Northamptonshire Circuit after winning an all -time classic in 2014 in Moto3 and 2019.

“I am very happy to drive in Silverstone. It's a really nice track,” he said.

“Every time I drove here, I enjoy it. Last year I couldn't drive on Saturday and Sunday because I came from Assen with an injury.

“But yes, very excited. This track is amazing. Yesterday I was a little more than I took a walk in the racetrack [for the first time since] three years ago. So yes, it is very very excited.

“Let's take a look at the weather because it looks like such a difficult state after another weekend. But here we try to enjoy from day one.”
