Florida woman accused of having attacked older Trump supporter with Maga Hut

A woman in Florida is suspended several charges of her alleged attack on a 72 -year -old man who was wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat at the beginning of this week.

The 33 -year -old Laura Garrett was arrested on Tuesday by the Largo Police Authority on a person who is older than 65, a battery against a police officer and disabled person or resistance an official without violence, according to the records of Pinella's County prison.

Garrett admitted that she turned to the man – who was not publicly identified – in Northeast Park and Paw Place to ask him about President Donald Trump, and why he supports him, an affidavit from Fox 13 Tampa Bay.

At some point, the two argue during the confrontation before Garrett held a can of the victim's head and thus hit him on the back and shoulder area, said the arrest report, even though Garrett denied that she hit him with the can.

The police said she had jumped a fence and went away after the attack on the man.

She was later found by police officers with whom she supposedly tried to arrest her.

The arrest report says that Garrett was deliberately dropped to the ground when the officers put them in handcuffs and that an officer tried to accompany them in the front of the park, wrapped them both legs around him and brought him to fall.

The officer's knee was injured during the incident, which triggered the second battery charge.

The police said she continued and withdrew from the arrears.

Garrett was instructed to Pinella's County prison on Tuesday evening, but was released on Wednesday evening, as the records read in prison.
